some progress today
Installed a tach today so i could see what my tranny is shifting at. bought a cheap one until i redo all my gauges then ill buy a nice one to match. Drove the car today and it was shifting at about 3600-3800 at WOT. and thats after getting the shift linkage pretty tight. any suggestions?had some problems with tires and suspension but ill talk about that in another post.

RE: some progress today
is it shifting too soon for your liking or not soon enough? either way the adjustment is to pull the vacuum line at the trans and then use a screw driver on the screw inside the connection.

oil pressure gauge..how could i burn it up? ugh i hate taking my car to a mechanic. i would just think you tighten it until it shifts where you like?
