Im trying to freshen up my engine compartment, am I able to repaint my alternator? (since im going to spray the bracket I though I would ask.) To my best knowledge, I believe you can.

What are your thoughts? Thanks

yes just make sure to mask the holes,terminals etc so the paint doesnt get inside

yeah anything would look good powdercoated. but itd have to be completely disassembled to do that.

have the alt buffed. you may need to take the pulley out tho...i had mine done recently and looks very nice...

i was gonna mention that aswell. take some sandpaper to the thing and it will come out nice

Summit sells a nice chrome 60 amp unit for under $90. Don't see how you could mask it and have it look good.
