Would a 5.0 engine with an auto trans bolt right up 2 a 67 with an original v8 under the hood. without fabing anything or cutting?

yes you need a flexplate with a 50oz balance along with a harmonic balancer that 50oz also but with the vintage bolt pattern for your pulleys, you need to put the 5.0 dizzy gear on your vintage dizzy. and reuse you original oilpan, pickup, and timing cover, intake ands carb and you have to block off the 5.0 dipstick hole with a wooden dowel do this and youll be golden

ok, heres a little run down. there is no outlet for mechanical fuel pump on the 5.0s so you need to run an electric pump. gona need a new flywheel. gona need a new oil pan, you can use your 289 distributor but you should change the gear on it. you can use your old 289 pulleys and run a v belt system or if your up for it you can go serpentine belt system. your going to need to drill a hole for the dipstick. if you dont have ac,power steering and smog then a serpentine belt is going to be a little tricky to hook up. and yes you can carb the motor, just take off the efi intake and put on yours then the carb. as for the C4 and driveshaft and all that its fine. you might want to look into a new stall converter too.

ok, both of those are right, but i dont think they answered your question.
yes you can drop a 5.0 into the 289 mounts, same block diffrent stroke, and you wont need to fab anything up.
next question... do you have the complete 5.0 setup? if so then dont worry about the other stuff posted above, if your building just build a normal 5.0 and put it in.
