Oil in Engine Valleys

Oil in Engine Valleys
I have this oil leak that puddles in the engine valleys, does anyone know where the leak may be coming from. I thought it was the power steering which was leaking really bad and was just getting dirty, but I fixed that and I still get pools of oil. Could the oil be coming from the manifold or the valve covers? I have a new manifold and carb to put on, but have been hesitant to put them on because the car is running fairly well, except for the oil leak.
I really need to clean my engine bay, it is pretty dirty.

What you're talking about is the top of the timing cover. Looks to me like a leaky front intake gasket. Go ahead and take the opportunity to swap in the new intake When you get the new gasket set, ditch the cork gaskets and use a 1/4" bead of ultra black RTV on the front and back of the block, with a little more at the corners where the block and heads meet.
