Default Wood Grain - shinning up?

I have my passenger wood grain dash piece (where the clock is) all apart to clean it and refurbish some stuff so I was wonder if there was a way to shine back up the wood grain? Any tips or tricks?

Possibly spray some clear on it? Varnish? any time of polishes work?

any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!

I have looked around and have not found a replacment for the woodlike plasticdash pieces. I recently purchased an orginal steering wheel that had been refurbished and it looks awsome. I don't know if someone like that would restore it or not. I need the same thing done, so please post if you figure it out! A clear finish would help, but mine is actually turned a little grey while the steering wheel and dash sticker are more brown. I will need an actual refinish I think.

well all my wood grain is in great shape, except for my center console stuff. I just wanted to see if I can make it better because it is a little washed out but not much. So if there is any treatment out there to get it top notch, someone let me know
