Dang, I would be pissed if he took it away. After putting so much work and money in to it, and the guy doesnt even care. He is prolly just some jerk that will sell it if it is worth the money.

If so, I would tend to believe that some insurance company actually owns the car...

Yeah, I would think Insurance would come into play in both these cases.

Still, to have your classic stolen and then show up in good condition years later?

Just goes to show you that sometimes doing good isn't too good to you and sometimes wrong is right. should have just popped the tag off the door and been done with it and nevermore a word spoken.

That corvette one he did get the car back and gm restoration parts gave him a 2500 dollar gift card.But think of it this way if the insurance company lets them buy it back for what they paid you for it your getting a car for less then half what its worth.
