RE: Grundy: Classic insurance for daily driver?
When I was searching for insurance for the 67 I played hell trying to find a company that would let me actually drive it around town. Most classic car insurance companies would ONLY let me drive it to and from car shows or organized events. I was told specifically that "If you drive it to work, kids school, Walmart, McDonalds etc. that you WILL NOT BE COVERED".
I wound up going with Safeco. 2500 mile annual limit and agreed value w/ no appraisal or pics necessary.

When I called Grundy I was told Car Shows, Events and service only. I said " So if I drive to
7-11 I'm not covered". He said thats right. Be careful and read all the fine print.
I went with a Special Auto plan with Allstate. I pay $300.00 a year with no restrictions and full coverage.
