When I was searching for insurance for the 67 I played hell trying to find a company that would let me actually drive it around town. Most classic car insurance companies would ONLY let me drive it to and from car shows or organized events. I was told specifically that "If you drive it to work, kids school, Walmart, McDonalds etc. that you WILL NOT BE COVERED".

I wound up going with Safeco. 2500 mile annual limit and agreed value w/ no appraisal or pics necessary.

I have mine insured through Barlow(local to me).I think i pay about $320 a year with a 5000 mile limit and agreed value of $55,000

When I called Grundy I was told Car Shows, Events and service only. I said " So if I drive to
7-11 I'm not covered". He said thats right. Be careful and read all the fine print.

I went with a Special Auto plan with Allstate. I pay $300.00 a year with no restrictions and full coverage.
