Default Project for 2008

Due to the fact that I am married with two children...I am limited on my projects financially. (That being said I have a slush fund account going for a 351 stroker, AOD, and 9" rear). This year I decided to replace my tailight assemblies, upgrade to LED tailights, and headlight switch assembly. The reason for these projects was first the chrome around the lenses is pitted badly and faded, the lenses themselves are faded and cloudy, and the bulb in there doesn't give off as much light as modern cars (safety first!!). Second, the switch is getting repalced because the dimmer function really doesn't work and my lights flicker when you try to adjust it. Finally, it all fit within my $300 dollar budget. As far as I know all of these components are still 1968 vintage. Anyone done this before....any pointers? I believe it is pretty straight forward.
