Daily driver
Het i know its no mopar forum but its the best forum around so im debating driving my 72 charger w/ a 440 (68, no smog) as my DD and parking the 72 stang im driving now w/ a 302. The stangs problems range from leaky everything and bad bondo work to a dire need for a front end build. As best i can tell the non-smog 440s in stock trim (which mine is) deliver about 10 city and 15 hwy... which my 302 is also stock but really really needs a rebuild and is only getting about 12-15 anyways.... What do you guys think??? Does anyone know if the 15/10 mpg in a 440 is realistic? I need to get tags on the charger before i drive it but its hard to convince myself that its worth it to drive a 7.2L daily... it would be awesome but what do you guys think?
Oh and there is no way i would get rid of the stang i would just be able to park it and tear it apart finally... get it done right.... I dont really need any scientific answers just an opinion...
Thanks guys.

RE: Daily driver
to me, MPG is sort of relative.
Several years ago I had a commute to the office that was 37.5 miles one way. So I purchased a Ford Escort for cheap and drove it to the office and back.
Now however, my commute is maybe 10 miles / day round trip so it is not as important to me anymore and my DD is an '07 Ford Explorer that has 4 wheel drive, etc. Gets 20 on the highway and about 13 around here but it isn't a big deal because I don't drive a lot of miles.
