Been awhile since I did an update. They have not done the sheetmetal order yet for my firewall and decklid but I have been by to talk to them about it. i did get new speakers and a new head unit for the car though.

Went with a 6 3/4 for the front and a 6 1/2 for the rear so I can have some good sound WHEN I want to hear music instead of the engine.

I went with a Pioneer head unit since this one had 3-4V pre-outs.

I hope that after I get our taxes done I can use some of the return on the car.

Well I spent more on both fronts so far but I am not worried. I am going to have it put back together to drive it while I buy the parts to restomod it.

Well finally have some updates on my build thread. Been trying to get a decklid for my mustang for 4 years and it's been back ordered every time. Finally got one through Scott Drake.

Replacing it because the old decklid had a spoiler on it (when they sold it to me as a Mach 1) and it was rusted.

I posted 3 pictures because it took so long to get one and it looks so much better. The passenger quarter panel was replaced and when it was welded in the gap is a little tight so going to have to beat on it a bit to make it work.

Also got the firewall in so we can start cutting out the old and get all the sheetmetal back together. Still need to get a new gas tank (also had rust in it).

Once this is welded in have a few more rust holes to fix and then it's Dynamat time. Will have to start getting the interior back together then.

True but I could not find one that was not rusted and I have faith in my mechanic on his bodywork skills it making it right. He is also a perfectionist and will work at it till it is perfect.
