Hello people,
I'm new here, and have a stupid problem, one I am sure some of you are reading saying "what a dork"

Either way, I have a 64 1/2 mustang with a 289 and 2 bb carb.
She starts fine and runs for about 2 min then dies, restarts fine but only runes for about 1 min.
I've change carbs, fuel filters and fuel pump. My spark is good and I am at a stand still.

My wife got me the car because she knows I fist love mustangs and 2nd was made the year I was born ( dream car). She wants me to take it to a shop, doesn't understand I need to fix it on my own I guess, and I haven't worked on a car in like 15 years, forgot so much. could someone point me in the right direction please
