Default How tight should the poly lock be?

I was beginning to adjust the valves and the poly locks on my roller rockers are so tight that i twisted my allen wrench. I am 99% sure that i loosen the allen then loosen the nut.
I have a little noise in the valves after a hard rev. over 4500rpms.
It is coming from the passenger side only and i checked to see if it was the header gasket and it is not.

they should be tight so that they cannot come loose with the vibrations of the motor running, but you really shouldn't be twisting your allen wrenches (unless they are cheap *** tools lol)

Get a bigger (and less crappy) allen? They really shouldn't be all that tight.

Assuming that the nut is outside of the allen, which I think it will be, you need to loosen the outside nut first and then the allen.... the nut normally holds the allen in place...
