It looks like it's missing a bumper....and rear wheels.

Yeah to each their own. Our old ponies have been modified to unquestionable mods, but I just prefer the originals. But, that is the beauty of these old Mustangs, you can modify the heck out of them to your liking. And parts are available to do those mods. Try doing that with a 57 Chevy.

Better yet try a 48 chitty, two door coupe, that sumb*tch is still sitting my my parents shop!, I wonder if I'll ever work on it....only thing I got done before I left for college was cut the frame and welded in a camaro subframe...man I forget about that car way to much, guess what they say is true outa sight outa mind, oh well I'll restomod the stang... and maybe someday if I have a shop I'll haul the ol 48 outa my folks and fix it up, maybe ledsled style.. like this one... ohh ahh, I hate chevys but I could cruise around in one like this...

I just bought a 66 Shelby Clone - LOVE IT!!!

to find this grille that is in the photo below - I cant seem to find it at the parts places.
The 1966 Shelbys used a standard '66 Mustang grille. The ones the parts vendors sell are correct. As for the horse - just use one for the 65/66 front fender.

And if you're wanting to make it a bit more difficult for folks to tell it's a clone - get rid of the 289 emblem, and replace those fastback vents with the quarter window.

huh? [sm=dontgetit.gif] Did the 69 have a billet grill in it stock or something?
No, the offset pony (same position as the offset shelby emblems)
