65-66 V8 Motor Mount & Frame Mount Thoughts
Does anyone have any preference for the different styles of aftermarket motor mounts? I was planning on running the stock style mounts, but thought I would see what everyone thought of some of the aftermarket peices.

I have heard many good things about both the TCP and RMP pieces. A lot of people seem to really like the RMP pieces because their adjustability makes header installation easier and they allow you to move the engine back a bit for better weight transfer. I plan on using the RMP pieces. If you're not looking to spend that much, see if you can find 66 mounts. I believe they are sturdier and have abeter deisgn than the 65 pieces.
I also remember reading a while back about a modification you can do to 65 mounts involving drilling a hole through the rubber and both metal plates, then installing a bolt through the mounts. It will make the mounts a bit stiffer and keep it from coming apart.
