Rumble and shifter shaking when launching the car...

put the foot hard on the brake pedal while standing (use tyhe heel). rev the car to lets say 2000 with the toes of the same foot and release the clutch pedal.
This is not very nice on the clutch but you can test this way if it's happening driving only or standing as well. So don't do that too often as it's really stressing the clutch.
If it happens standing as well, then I'd say clutch chatter or engine mounts

Thanks Kalli.
How am I supposed to interpret the results of this test?
If it does happen when I am not moving it would mean that it cannot be the drive shaft or the U joints?
I don't really know what's best for me :/

Hi friends,
Update on the issue! I took it for a ride to have it checked by my mechanic. The problem comes from the transmission mount somewhere and under load (like when I launch the car, expecially up hill) it shakes and touches a piece of metal. He is pretty sure that this is the problem as the metal there is polished due to repeted rubbing.
I am bringing back the car to him so that he can trim the metal piece a little bit to avoid this anoying shaking/rumbling. No big deal and the clutch is fine
(whoa, what a car now )

Friends,
The problem was not exactly what I mentioned, it was because of the transmission not being properly aligned. Simple explanation, I had the stock heads replaced by lighter aluminum ones (and the battery relocated in the trunk). The change in weight created the problem.
It has been reshimed and it's perfect now
