Default blah, interior electrical, blah

there is one thing i will never understand, and that is electrical systems, even on classic cars i am dumbfounded.

okay so when i use my turn signals and my radio at the same time it burns out the turn signal fuse, but as far as i can tell the radio is not wired into the turn signal wires, but i could and probably am wrong.

second, there is no cigarette lighter assembly, no power point in my car. for some reason the PO took it out. can i just buy a new one at the autoparts store and put that in? or will i need to buy an official one.

also how complicated will it get. because im ive got half a mind to take it to a radio/tint shop here in town and have them deal with the radio.

btw the radio is one of those cassette digital ones that fit into the stock cut outs.
