Yeah, he's just coasting most of the time. I'd like to see him racing full out. Nice vid though, I saw it awhile ago. It still makes me drool!

Holy jebus. That thing's stupid fast, and that's just the Mini-Nats. I'd love to see it in a race, but I don't know what class it would race in.

Gotta love the straight-cut gear whine and the dash-mounted brake and clutch fluids. Definitely a race car.

The videos on the Maximum Motorsports site of their American Iron/test mule car are pretty impressive, too. That car doesn't have the same brute power, but it still passes most of the other cars without any trouble.

Yeah, that video is a good example of what your car will sound like if you use a straight cut gear tranny.

Here's the website with lots of good information on the build, and plenty more video.

Like dodgestang said, it was an open track day. I've been to this track, it's really fun!
Oops, I just changed the title/info to match.

Clutch/brake fluid etc. Having it in cabin let's you see if the fluid level is getting low, and sometimes makes it easier to mount setups like that with linkages, when you run separate m/c's for front and rear.
