Talking 66 coupe project

hello, this is my first post here! so hello mf =)

my friend and I recently aquired a 66 coupe and are in the middle of restoration.
I guess my reasons for posting are kinda selfish, I thought that this way i could get some feedback on my work, and have another form of documentation.

anyway.... this pony was made in the san jose plant (i live in santa clara CA, right next to san jose =D ) it has the original 289, C4, and diff. it came with the "pony" package, which has been molested by the previous owner who put in black seat upholstery. I have already sent off the block to be bored/honed, crank ground, etc, and the tranny to be rebuilt.

I have found a roller cam conversion kit that has the link bars on the lifters. and i know that some people are against using them, in favor of boring extra holes to accept the newer style keepers. but i am not putting a radical cam in it, i just want it to be a good solid, and long lasting rebuild.

I have the body panels and engine kit on order and should be in by the end of this week =)
