swapping front signals w/ driving lights
I was wanting to change out me front turn signals with some fog/driving lights. i just had tha paint completed so i dont want to get into body work. Do any of you know of a light that i can mount in the hole with minimal carnage to the valance and a a good finished look?

Why not just go with the fog light kit on the grill thats available from the vendors? Removing the signal lights shouldn't be done. Any aftermarket fog/driving lights ranging from 20.00 to 2000.00 will work. All will likely require some work.

Wow. I agree. Get the grill lamps. Don't remove the turn sigs.
Most cars don't even have optional foglights; Mustangs are one of the few that do.
If it's just that your headlamps are not bright enough and you have orig wiring, you can make them brighter by changing some wiring, like the headlamp ground wires.

well i like the way that my car looks with a blank grill. I have shaved everything but the door handels on my car and i want it to look as clean as possible. I like the optional fogs from the factory but i am looking to do something a little diff.
I would keep the signals if i could find a clear yellow lense for them. something like the newer models have. You know like the clear red tail light lenses. I have a certain look in my head for the car and that is where i am going with the lighting.
I have the tri bars and i am going to do the relay wiring to get them brighter. I just want some additional eyeballs.

You absolutely need to keep the turn signals. Period. That, or never put the car on the road. Every car that came with turn signals from the factory has to have them if the car hits the pavement. It's an important safety feature, and a cop isn't going to be too happy with you if he sees you driving around with driving lights instead of turn signals.
You can't have a lens that's clear and yellow. You get one or the other. Newer "euro" lights have a clear outer cover with red and yellow inner lenses.
If you want something a little different, use an R-model type valence and mount the lights in the center of the balance directly under the bumper. You could even mount a pair in the middle of the grille above the bumper, like the early '67 GT350's.
