install side dip rails

Default install side dip rails

i think ive already posted about this.. i have a 65 mustang back from the paint job.. and im tryin to install the side dip rails that go on top of the door.. ive tried everything i sanded dwon the paint.. used a blade to get to the chrome.. i can not put the damn chrome rails on.. i dont want to just hammer em on.. cuz then it look nast and bumbed... i need help man.. ive been goin at it since 6 am lol

I remember seeing a special tool for that once but I can't remember if it was for removal or install or both. I know it was in the NPD catalog, I'll try to find it when I find my catalog.
