Default !973 Grande Project

Hello I am working on my car and I really need some advice on floor boards how to replace them etc. I have heard people say if you arent going to sell it you can get away with pop riveting them over old ones and rubber coat. I think that sounds like a crazy idea so I am looking for advice. Thanks
I have posted before and after of engine and other pics

Countryboy, I would not pop rivet new floors over the old ones. Dirt, water etc will get trapped in between and lead to what you have now from the sounds of it. I would do it right and cut the bad out and weld in new.
