Default control valve

I rebuilt the power steering control valve on a 68. Now the steering pulls so hard to the right that it moves the wheel itself. any suggestions?

I am doing the same thing right now... the whole steering setup has to be redone on my stang since the guy before me disconnected everything and didn't leave some of the parts. How the hell do you get the control valve off??? Also, I bought new hoses for the ram/piston, and i was wondering which hose goes where and which end goes on the control valve? (Didnt come with instructions and the hoses where gone when i got the car.) Thanks in advance.
