You might consider using a rebuilt engine exchange service unless you know a really good machine ship. Machine shops are famous for adding on to the bill. Between boring, honing, line boring and deck plaining the bill can add up. That is only the block not even the heads. If you are not worried about the casting numbers being period correct someone like Jasper might be the way to go.
