You might want to consider someway of attaching the roll bar to the torque boxes other than welding. Once they are welded in it becomes difficult to put the interior in (headliner, moldings on either side of the rear seat, trim, etc. Just a thought.

Yup thank you we will be doing something similar. We're going to weld a plate to the torque box that will allow the roll bar to be bolted onto the plate. That way we can remove it if needed.

Somehow I missed this tread earlier. This is awesome I keep trying to convince my wife to let me get her one for us to work on together. She told me she'd rather just ride in the one I have when it's finished.
