Default Air Cleaner and Valve color for a '65

I am new on here and was wondering what is the color of the gold that came on the 289 air cleaners and valve covers and can you get this in a spray can? Thanks

I wasn't even aware it came in gold. I don't think it would look very good, but that's just my opinion.

64.5 and 65 289 std. gold.
67 289 std. blue.
67 200 sport sprint chrome. Dunno why it's called sprint? More like a walk.

Nice 289!

Do you actually use that coolant flush thingy?

I took one of those off my car.

Are those HiPo manifolds?

The engines were color coded back then. The 289 had gold air cleaner and valve covers. the 260 had baby blue.
