Value of a front bench seat????
Someone has a front bench seat for sale. It's a 68 and I would love to add it to my 67 convertible. First will it go in with no issues and what's a fair price?
I am sure it will need recovering.

Not much. They are rare, but not costly. If it's complete, with tracks, and all the arm rest trim (moulding, hinge covers) it might be worth as much as $150. This stuff is a bear to find. A complete arm rest assembly might cost $100 all by itself. The seat tracks are unique to the bench.
The 68 will match the design of the 68 seats, however, so you'll have to get 68 bench upholstery done in 67 patterns to match. Do-able, and since the bench is so rare many people would never notice the difference.
That center arm rest is pretty nice to have on a long drive.

If you don't buy it, turn it over to me! Lol, I've been wanting a bench seat for my 67 for years but can't find one.
I have 4 kids, so I wanted to be able to squeeze them in with me when we go to the local diners!

i would say its worth 200. If you think you want it i would get it their pretty hard to find. And your seat backs should work on it im not 100% on that but for my 65 they look the same, so all you would need is the armrest cover and bottom cover. I got one in my gold 65 and love it.

Waiting to hear back, but if it's reasonable I think I will pick it up. I like the armrest and the fact that they aren't that common.

Curious, since it's so rare would a front bench seat add value to a mustang? It's definitely got the comfort factor to it

Bah, He wants $300 for it and it's black so it would need to recovered. When all said and done I would be $500-600 in the hole.

I've got an old bench seat that I need to get rid of. It's white 1967 front seat bench.
Just saw that you guys were interested and I'm trying to get more space
