Default timing

does anyone know what the timing should be on a 1971 351 Cleveland H code with electronic ignition.

Initial should be around 12, with the total coming in around 38 to 40.

Yeah, set it at 12-13 initial, then tweak it from there. Be sure you plug up your vacuum hose with a screw or something while settning the timing.

As much as possible until you get pinging under hard throttle with good traction, then back down a degree or 2.
