How do you take these bad boys off mine arent installed correctly. They are the clip on kind. Also how do you take off the door panels?

 

ive got a 65 mustang. im sorry that i have to ask such stupid questions but i dont have the interior restoration manual yet

 

the door panels are clipped on, using clips. You slowly pry them off. Theres a tool for this i think, but just use a screwdriver being careful. I took mine off with no problems, but my regulators are bolted in i think ,so i cant help you there.

 

the panels will come right off once get the regulaters off. I need to fix the driver side door handle because the way it is on there you cant roll the windows up.

 

Oh, are you talking about the handles?

 

If they are clipped on, you gotto slide something back there and pop the clip out. They have a tool for this. They can be a pain in the butt.

 

yeah both the handles and the regulators will be replaced soon but ill look in the mustangs unlimited catalog for this tool.
