OK, So 1969 351 Windsor, will a 1991 T5 transmission mount without a adapter plate?

Yes if you use the T-5 bellhousing..The trans will NOT bolt up to the stock 351 bellhousing without an adaptor..You will also need a 157 tooth 28 oz balanced flywheel..If you have the original flywheel off of the 351 it is probably a 164 tooth...The flywheel for whatever the T-5 was bolted to will be 50 oz balance so don't use it on the 351..You will also need to change the clutch fork setup inside the T-5 bellhousing unless you are going to run a cable to activate the clutch..This is not hard to do and you can reuse the stock mustang clutch linkage..
