Default Sound like a good deal?

Well recently I sold the 351W I had due to the fact it would take too much to make decently fast at all. Just found this

i have a 306 not sure how many miles is on the motor but its real strong. has stock crank and rods, ross pistons, rod bolts have been changed to ARP, eldebrock alum heads, eldebrock air gap intake. heads and intake are port matched to the felpro 1262. com cam roller rocker, lifters and push rods have been changed around 150 miles ago. pulled 289 HP and 289 TQ on a mustang dyno with a holley 650 cfm HP carb.

The only part that concerns me is the unknown mileage. Which I mean there is no telling how many miles were on the 351W I had. But for all it has he is only wanting $800.00 The heads alone new are practically that much.

i say go for it. whats the worst that can happen. you smash the pedal and blow it up. a rebuild kit is only about $300.

sounds good. buy it and flog the shat out of it. $800 well spent....

Thats what I was thinking, just looking for a little extra input. All in all it is only $50 more than the 351W I sold. And has alot more power and parts already there.

well i bought a similar engine over here for more than double the money ... I think 800$ is a steal for that. Especially with aluminium heads.

I would buy it but have a someone pull the heads and check the pistons and cylinder walls just to know how bad it is from the start.

A rebuild kit is only $300 dollars? ....Plus whatever is damaged when you "blow it up"...
