take the instrument cluster out all the way first, marking all wires as you go. I always draw little diagrams as i take each section apart which i know will pay off when i go to reassemble everything. but removing the entire cluster was the biggest help.

Sorry to say, but you probably just wasted some money. I believe if you were able to take the whole assembly out then you are some what capable and should be able to rebuild the assembly yourself.

I did mine. It took about an hour to do. I have the roller bearings and I will say that it is a slight improvement (a little smoother) then the old plastic guides in brand new condition. it's an obvious improvement over worn out plastic guides.

Hi,

Yes, I agree (Stangatic). I considered Mustang Steve and nothing against his work, but, having good skills sets, I did my own. I was very easy.
Good Luck with your project.

Hi
No problemo! There are roller kits that utilize a "circlip" to hold in place. Look carefully, you'll see it on this side.
Good Luck with your project.
