My old 20" 3-core is clapped out so my mechanic/buddy gave me a nice 24" 4 core that a customer gave him.

Question: Since moving up to a 24" radiator changes the mounting from bolting onto the core support to a saddle system I ponied up (see that?) and bought the new upper and lower brackets from NPD. The upper saddle bracket I have figured out but the lower saddles are making me scratch my head.

How exactly are those lower saddle brackets supposed to attach to the car? The holes look like they line up ok but the tab towards the engine doesn't fit down inside the hole I think it's supposed to go in to. I could trim it up but before I go beating and grinding the hell out of 35$ worth of brackets I'd like to get some ground truth on how to install it properly.

Anybody have a picture or two of their 67's with a factory 24 inch radiator setup?

I appreciate the high quality picture but now I'm more confused than before.
I have no holes where yours is and for the life of me can't figure out how yours is mounted. Your bracket doesn't look like it has a mounting arm like mine does.
What is that bracket mounted to?
Do these look like your brackets?
