Rally pac and eletronic ignition

Rally pac and eletronic ignition
I have a 65 GT and recently installed original rally pac guages. Is there a electronic ignition conversion such as Pertronics which will allow my tach to work with it? If not what can I do to make one work?

Hi,
You can install the electronic (pointless) distributor or swap your poits for a Pertronix ignitor without problems. It's when you add a MSD, Mallory or Jacobs multi-strike box, that it stops working. If anyone of these are added, I think the P/N is 8620 (MSD product).
Check it out. There is a "ton" on this. Some guys have even "gutted" their Rally tachs and installed modern internals.
