Default need to stiffen chassis of chop-top 1966

I recently purchased a 1966 Mustang 2v289, built as a coupe, but now it is removeable. Thus I have a convertible built as a coupe, and of course, it is quite the flexible flyer. Thus the chassis must be stiffened. I don't intend to race this car, just drive it around town and on short trips. So I am leaving the engine, C4 transmissions, and drum brakes as is.

I was thinking of installing Heidt's chassis frame stiffener and sub-frame connectors.

Opinions on this? Is there other work I should do to improve the chassis?

Thanks!

that kit seems like it will be more than enough for just your casual street driving. torque boxes and strut tower brace are options as well

You need to add the items in red on phase 1. This makes it a convertible unibody.
