A 67-73 a t56 fits on a 64-66 it takes some cutting on the trans tunnel to clear.

I might sound crazy but i would use a ls over a mod motor,The ls is about the size of a 351w so it will fit with out cutting.Power is cheap with one a lq4 with a cam is pretty nasty.

Blasphemer! That's worse than putting chevy engines in old Fords.

After researching I agree it is too much trouble for me anyways.
I may just install the 86 351HO and sell the 69 Mach1 instead of restoring it.
My classic days me be numbered...

Your right that does sound crazy!..Not doubting the ls power but they have no place in a ford.

I'm kinda a old school hot rodder type brands don't matter to me.I had a 54 belair with a 351w and c4 because they was what i had lol.
