Still seems a little high priced for a coupe with missing parts and issues. You will want to replace the carpet and who knows what the headliner looks like. Go give it a look. Pull up the carpet in the front and give it a nice once over.. or thrice over. It looks nice from the outside, but Red with blue carpet and black seats throws me off. Probably a macco paint job and some underlying rust issues. If you can wedge an interior door pannel off, take a look inside the doors for rust at the bottom.

I would offer between 5-6,500. You will spend $700 easily on putting together a nice interior with new parts depending on the headliner and gauges.

i know where you are coming from but i will have no problem walking away if see something i don't like.

the carpet doesn't bother me.its a cheap 200.00 i will gladly spend for black carpet. he also said the gauges work fine.

he said he bought the car painted in 1994. i may be wrong but i don't think a macco job would last this long.

I try beating him down at least a couple more grand. Looks hodge-podgy.

well guys i ended up walking from the car. it just wasn't the car i fell in love with in the pictures. i got him down to 6,500 and i could only pay 5000 for the car in the condition it was in. there was a big bondo crack on the side. some bumbles on the lower driver door. the paint had nicks all over and the paint seemed ever so slightly faded. the steering was super sloppy to the point where it was scary to drive and the only way i could get the thing to stop decent was by down shifting. also i was having allot of problems switching the gears manually.

the car sounded great and i am still in love with it but i like my 6,500 dollars more. i guess i continue the search thanks for the help.
