Default My Future Mustang

Sup guys. I wanted to tell you all about what I want to do with the appearance of my 2004 mustang v6, and the performance.
First lets start off with the exhaust system. I am going to buy a MAC Cat Back GT, and I don't know whether to use a H-pipe or an X-pipe.
Next I want to re-paint my entire car black. Going fully blacked out.
I also want to buy some smoked headlights and some fog lights.
I am going to buy a 99-04 Mustang GT rear bumper cover. And I'm also planning on getting a 04 hood w/ hoodscoop. Or a 02 hood and mount the hood scoop myself.

If you have any comments about what I should change or something I should add, Or if i'm doing anything completely wrong, leave a response

X pipes are very raspy on a V6 just so you know. I use an H pipe and mine is still a little raspy around 3k rpm or so then clears again a bit later. You can hear mine in the exhaust clips in my sig.

Can you link me to the MAC H-pipe that you have on your mustang? And do I have to buy a v6 made h-pipe or a GT?

If I were looking to buy an H-pipe to go with my dual system. Would I have to but it labeled as v6 or gt? Since my catback is going to be a after market gt.

Maybe this will help (see link below). It's a tech guide from American Muscle and should answer a lot of questions concerning a dual exhaust conversion and what is needed.

As far as mufflers go, pick whatever you like the sound of best. Go to you tube and listen to a bunch of 3.8L V6 Mustang clips using both systems and decide what you like best.

The setup I'm planning on getting for my 04 V6, is the Flowmaster American Thunder for the GT. I plan on hooking it up with the PaceSetter H-Pipe adapter. Here's my game plan so far.

I haven't decided on switching out the cats or the headers yet. They may get done later on.
