The 1.5 primary will be fine on that engine, but a 3" collector is large for primaries of that size. And then reducing the collector down to a smaller exhaust size can cost a bit of power by negating the pulse tuning from the header. If you could find something with a 2.5" collector and just run a 2.5" exhaust you'd be better off.

I concur.

And Flows don't flow worth a **** (the more commonly used ones anyway), one of the most notorious corks of a muffler....they do have some race oriented ones that are better, but they can be quite loud.

These days I run the tried and true Dynomax Super Turbos.

Got the car back today. Exhaust sounds good but too quiet for me. Im gonna be patient and wait for the mufflers to break in everyone says it takes a lil while but they get louder. I gained noticeable horsepower but i think lost a little torque as my old system had 1.5 primaries with 2inch pipes and turn downs. Its a good trade off tho because where i was lacking power around 50mph n up ive got good power there now

You may need to rejet now that the engine is breathing better...It has been my experience that the exhaust gets a little quieter with age..

You think you want it loud....but drive your car long enough and you get tired of loud.

you want it loud, try a exhaust cut out. They dont sound too good on a mild motor, but lets you get loud when want to. I have cut out on my single 3" exhaust for car cruises and or when a import gets next to me.
