This is the the rear window on my 69 convertible . It's a two piece glass binded with a glue/silicon in the middle of them so to help fold when the roof goes down. It's starting to peel and not sure how to fix it.

Wonder how old the top is? There was a time when companies used folding glass. That connector or seal is a normal part for the glass. Plastic windows don't have that seal obviously. Find a company that deals or specializes in convertibles. They should be able to get you a new seal.

A very quick query of the incredible wonder that IS the World Wide Web easily reveals many vehicles with rear glass windows IN a convertible.
1st up is a replacement rear glass window for a 1969 Mustang convertible
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/se...le+Rear+Window)
Further search for a 69 Stang reveals at that same distributer an entire soft top with tinted glass rear window for the princely sum of around $500 ($271.82 for the top & $227.03 for a GLASS rear window add your own shipping and install price)...need part numbers or will the link suffice?
2nd up...Looking a lil further the 1996-2006 Chrysler Sebring convertible not only offered a glass rear window with the soft top but a heated/defrosted one at that
3rd up... http://www.americanmuscle.com/top-he...=2005&model=GT this link is an ad for an entire soft top including heated rear glass window for a 2005-2014 Mustang.
Give me an hour and access to the wonder of the web and I can show you quite a bit more
