Nice looking car

One of my friends put the GW arms on his '69 Mach I. They're beefy and effective.

I'm personally looking at a set of upgraded stock-style UCA's from OpenTracker Racing, but that's mostly because I want to stick with a factory-looking suspension.

Default 65 FB work continues

Thanks Star. Are you running a rear sway bar Just curious. My car came with one but it was in the trunk never installed. Are you running subframe connectors.

.
since you have the sway bar you can try it but they can cause rapid unexpected oversteer, especially if they are big ones . . i would never run one on a 65 thru 68 again.

I don't have one on mine at the moment, no. I have a 15/16" front bar, which does great at keeping the front end managed through corners without killing ride quality. I have noticed some excessive roll at the back (under severe cornering) and have considered adding a very small rear bar and upgrading the front bar slightly to compensate, but I haven't got that far yet.

My recommendation is to go with a 15/16 to 1" front bar and no rear bar to see how the car behaves. As Barnett said, rear sway bars can do some interesting things (ie. snap oversteer), especially if the front isn't tuned to match.

I agree with you both. I believe I have 1" front. the rear looks like 5/8. I will not use it. Thanks for the continued support. This is my 1st rodeo 👍

you can just buy some travel limiters for the rear that limit upwards travel . . they came on 65 shelbys . . lots of vintage guys use them.

Interesting. I might consider that if a small rear bar doesn't quite do the trick. I want to see how the car feels with a rear bar in place; it just seems like the *** end is a bit too squishy in corners to me.
