air sound and water leaking between top and windshield
Its an 87 Mustang with a new top. I have only owned the car for a couple months. When I get above 50 or so, I get air whistling through. Today on my way home from work, I noticed that I was getting water dripping through under seal. It was just drizzling out.
If I push up on windshield frame, I get a lot of air coming through. If I pull down, I can almost eliminate the air.
So.. how do I know when its the seal or if it needs adjusting?

Yes, tighten the clamps (J-hooks) by loosening the hex key bolt on the front of the hook, then tighten by turning counter clockwise.
Also, this model is known for needing a new weatherseal at the front header more often than later years. To replace the top, an installer has to remove it. Many times, it will tear rather than cleanly allow itself to be removed. When this happens, it might be a good place for water to leak through.
