Default Dying leather

Does anybody know if there is a way to do this. I want to dye the inside portion of the backrest, and the cushions of the seat black, instead of gray. However, I do not wish to pay for upholestering. It seems like if I could dye it, I could save some money, I just don't know if you can do this.

Anybody have any advice/comments?

Default RE: Dying leather

Leather is not as porous as cloth and I think it will just make a mess of things. youre better off Junkyarding some used leather seats from a fresh wreck.
