Default My wife is trying to KILL me, ran over fresh paint!!!

Yes, my wife of less than 2 years is trying to kill me. We bought a 2010 Edge (LOVE THE CAR) a few months ago and like 2 weeks after getting the car she ran over what looks to be a puddle of lime green paint in the road that hadnt dried yet. Now there is lime green specks all over the sides and rear of the car, and the wheel wells are covered. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Matthew

Mineral spirits will safely remove the paint, just remember to wax the area afterwards. It will take some time though.

claying the car should also help.

This is exactly what I did a couple of years ago with my new '07 GT at that time. A barrel of white latex paint must have fallen from a truck not long before I was driving that road. I didn't notice this until about an hour later. I went to the nearest car wash and they were able to remove everything from the body after a few wash cycles. I still had this paint underneath the car until I sold it over 2 years later.
