Depends on the model. I would say too much work for a coupe, given that restored ones only go for 8-13 in my area. But for a fastback or vert, it may be worth doing a very thorough restoration, if you can pick it up at a good price.

Valid point. What is your end goal? You will never recover your restoration costs in just about any case. Anything can be restored if you have enough money. What it's worth is up to you.

It also depends on how much of the work you can do yourself. If you are able to install floors, quarters and torque boxes, that would bring the out of pocket costs down considerably. If you wanted to learn how to do those things, this type of car could be a good learning experience.
