...there are cheaper brands around than Dynotech for sure but if you've ever seen what a detonated d-shaft can do to a car it's not something to save $100 on. I've seen one (that let loose at the front) mutilate the tunnel, shatter the Tremec 6-spd case and break the drivers-rear mount flange right off a 5.4 iron block, etc (all on the same car). Always wise to use the best shaft and high-quality front and rear safety hoops, imo.
