Default compression?

I plan on doing a compression test here in a couple of days, my question for you guys is what are good numbers for a compression and what's the maximum difference between the cylinders?

Default RE: compression?

cool. Thanks I wanted to do all that so that I know if the motor is still good to go for a while or if it needs a new heart trans plant. I also want to do an oil and gas pressure but again have no idea on what to look for. Will the books at like auto zone work or do i need to go to ford?
