Hi,
Does anyone know how many O2 sensors there are on a 96 Mustang? My mechanic says there are 4, but my friend in Napa went to order teh parts for me, and he was told there are only 2 O2 sensors on that model. Anyone know the correct number?

real easy. get down on the ground, look at your mid pipe and look for yourself. my guess would say 4

your friend knows nothing about mustangs then. there are 4. 2 fronts and 2 rears.

you may not be able to see the fronts from the ground without lifting it a little bit.

there is 2 at the end of the headers and 2 in the cats. the cats are the ones that are monitors
