Do I need an alignment?
My car drives pretty straight with no pulling to one side or the other but I just replaced my tires after having put 75-80k on my old ones. I asked to keep two tires and after looking at them they are wore out on the inside a bit more than the outside. I did get a lot out of them so I'm wondering if it just wore that way since they were completely bald or if I need an alignment or something since their wear pattern was like that.

If you can go 75-80K on a set of tires on a Mustang, your front end must be perfect. The balding I'm guessing, is from turning over the years. Either way, if you go that long on a set of tires, don't mess with the front end.

Yeah I was pretty happy, I would have went another 5k on them too but the mpg started getting really bad so I decided to take them off. I won't touch anything then. I was just curious if the wear was uneven if I needed it but I figured with all those miles it's probably nothing. Thanks

lol He said he got 80k but didn't say how many of those miles were bald. Im guessing he should have changed them long long ago.
Since they were completely bald I wouldn't mess with the alignment.
Now if there was still a lot of tread left on the tire and the inside wore down to the threads I would be concerned with the alignment
