Default I just bought a 1987 Mustang GT! What the hell did I just buy?!?!

Hello,

I have owned a 1990 GT and a 2002 GT. I have been without a Mustang for 3 years now and was going nuts. I got a great deal (maybe) on this one pictured below. It is in Chicago and I am in Baltimore. I have a friend out there that test drove it for me and I purchased it over the phone. I know, crazy. Anyway I am picking it up 1 week from today. It’s coming from an auction and there are no known details on what has been done to it. I know it’s hard but buy these pictures can you tell anything from it. Brakes? Cold Air says MOAOSO? Engine? How can I tell if the gears have been changed?

3 known issues I need to address (any quick links for me?):
a) one of the T-tops has a small leak.... of course it does, i know peoples sunroofs are known for that.
b) two of the speakers don’t work
c) auto door locks don’t work

Thanks! I am excited to be back but need to relearn everything.

Wow! Based on the photos that thing looks immaculate! Hopefully it drives it, too. Don't see T-top ones around that often, either. Thats a Moroso intake.

I'm sure that says Moroso on the intake.

All I can say is I would love to have a T-Tops Fox Body! And that certainly looks to be in great condition...

I'm with you, all other things being equal, I would've pulled the trigger early on that one too!

Wow!!! I miss my old T Top. I had one back in highschool. I regret getting rid of that car and am always on the look out for another. Nice find! Post more pics when you get it.
