Default Did Ford use a systematic color code for wiring?

That's the question.
For instance is solid Red always a source of unswitched battery plus?
Is Red with a stripe a switched power lead?
Does the color of the stripe tell you anything?

It could be that there is no systematic color coding and all the harnesses are made up of random colors, but I bet that someone at Ford laid out a protocol. Now, maybe with the increase of electrical circuits, that protocol no longer applies.
Does anyone know?

That is one heck of question. I would be very interested to find out as well.
